Career Identity

Career Vision

I am an ambitious MEng Mechanical Engineering student who approaches engineering with creative design, and hands-on-execution. Grounded in a strong academic foundation in physics and mathematics, my work as a student is driven by commitment to excellence & a drive to create innovative solutions - whether I am modelling CAD assemblies, developing software, or contributing to Formula Student. Beyond the classroom, I am defined by initiative, discipline, and a passion for continuous development; I bring the same energy and accountability to university as I do to leading STEM outreach, training in the gym, and providing high quality service in part-time positions. My current focus is mastering engineering fundamentals and applying them to projects that prepare me to make a strong real-world impact.

Looking ahead into my career as an engineer, my vision is to establish myself as a skilled, and project-driven mechanical design engineer in the aerospace or automotive sectors, spearheading the development of next-generation, high–efficiency technologies. I aim to combine my innovative mind and technical expertise in CAD with strategic collaborative leadership to build projects that optimise performance, protect vulnerable communities, and safeguard our planet. Driven by a lifelong passion for continuous discovery, I will create effective engineering solutions that make a lasting global impact whilst cultivating an enriched, well-rounded life defined by community, leadership, and technical excellence.

University

I'm now in the second year of a MEng Mechanical Engineering (with a Year in Industry), having achieved a First Class grade in the first year of my studies, I am excited to continue my studies & application of engineering principals.

A-Levels

I chose to complete A-Levels in Maths (A) Physics (A), and Economics (A*) - setting me up well to apply for an start my degree in university.

After the completion of my studies, I was awarded overall best Economics student for the 2023-25 cohort.

GCSEs

Continuing to KEHS for secondary school, I completed GCSEs in English Language (9), English Literature (8), Mathematics (9), Biology (6), Physics (9), Chemistry (8), History (9), German (6), Drama (8), and Religious Studies (8).

11-Plus & Secondary Entrance Exams

At the end of my primary school journey, I took the 11-Plus exam as well as four independent school entrance examinations. My results were as follows:

11+: All schools offered including King Edward VI Camphill

Edgbaston High School for Girls: Place offered with 50% Scholarship

Priory School: Place offered with 100% Scholarship

Solihull School: Place offered

King Edward VI High School for Girls: Place offered & accepted

My experiment set out to prove that good quality hand-gel is effective at killing bacteria present on our hands.

Sponsored by Milton Pharmaceutical UK Limited, I was kindly given a pallet of 216, 500ml bottles of their product; I was able to use these for my experiment as well as give them out to visitors at the science fair.

Taking bacterial samples from 40 students, pre and post application of Milton hand gel, I then sealed the petri-dishes and grew cultures from each sample to examine the difference antibacterial gel makes.

The project included: Introduction, My Hypothesis, Equipment, Procedures, Sampling, Data & Results, and a Conclusion.

Year 6 Science Fair

One of my first big STEM milestones came at just 10-years-old, when I competed in my year 6 science fair.
